Finding Light On The Parkway, Monday, April 20, 2020

Hi, Folks,

This crested white duck wasn’t afraid of me at all. In fact, she seemed quite aggressive when she paddled up to my kayak and demanded to know when the feather salons were going to open again. She said that, if she didn’t get a cut and a style job pretty soon, she was going to quack up. I told her that the Governor didn’t consider salons and barber shops to be “essential services”, that it would likely be quite a while before they reopened, and that I personally hoped to look like Willie Nelson before this was over. She shed a tear and dejectedly swam away muttering about supporting either Farrah Fawcett or Tina Turner for Governor, ‘cause they’d understand. When I told my wife about my Willie Nelson aspirations, she started singing, “I’m gonna wash that man right outa my hair.”

Heck, I think we’re all just as lovable as we were before we needed a haircut!

Dave
