Finding Light On The Parkway, Monday, March 30, 2020

Hi, Folks,
“One cannot reflect in streaming waters.”, said Lao Tzu. This morning’s photograph is of a Snowy Egret and its reflection in the shallows of the American River. Lao Tzu’s observation applies: clear reflections like this can only be captured when the conditions are undisturbed, calm. With imposed quiet now in the lives of many of us, we may have new opportunities for undisturbed reflection.
Here’s hoping this day brings you a chance to reflect, perhaps, on the extraordinary beauty of nature that surrounds us just beyond our walls.
