Our Fine Crew of Nineteen Parkway Stewards kicked a lot of Trash off our UU Mile!

This past Saturday, our UUSS Parkway Stewards spent an enjoyable hour cleaning up Mile 6/7 North of the American River Parkway on a mid-Spring morning which was pleasant and increasingly warm. Thanks to their efforts, a very substantial amount of trash and debris were collected for pick up by the County. In addition to a number of the “old hands”, we were aided greatly by a number of folks from one of our Soul Matters groups who chose to pitch in and give back to the community on the UU Mile. We also were glad to have Sarah Patton bring her spirit and energy out as a new Steward. Thanks so much to all of you “new hands”!
The next cleanup is set for Saturday, June 11th. Looking forward to seeing you next month.
All the best,
Eric Ross
