Hi, Folks,

I’ve delayed this post to confirm whether the weather will allow us to do our usual Second Saturday (Feb. 9) cleanup of the Parkway’s UU mile. Unfortunately, we have a steady forecast for rain on both Friday and Saturday, making it unlikely that we’d be able to have a successful cleanup this weekend. The following weekend is also forecast to be rain-soaked, but I’ll check in with you again next week with a go/no-go signal for a cleanup on Saturday, February 16.

As a reminder of the delights of the Parkway, here’s a photograph of four river otters frolicking for my enjoyment at about noon today.  Thanks for caring about this special place!
