WE WILL BE HAVING A CLEAN UP THIS COMING SATURDAY, MARCH 18TH. starting at 8:45am. DAVE DAWSON will be meeting you at that time while I am on vacation. THANKS FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED ASSISTANCE!

Our UU Mile has taken some wild weather recently and there have been difficulties getting at some of the accumulated trash from abandoned encampments, etc. We need your help and there appears to be decent weather forecast for this Saturday so please come out if you can to protect and maintain our beautiful jewel of a Parkway.

We meet on the second Saturday of every month in the parking lot, at the levee at the end of Northrop Avenue, off Howe Avenue, behind Panera Bread. We sign in; trash bags are provided and new folks are oriented. We then spend one hour removing trash from the UU Mile. We meet back next to the levee stairway for a photograph of our crew and the results of our efforts. Many of us then meet at Panera for refreshments and conversation. Remember to wear good shoes, your ARPF Steward shirts if you have one, bring gloves and water to hydrate, perhaps a “grabber”, and your volunteer spirit… consider masking if you deem it appropriate….
