UUSS Puts A Little Love In The Parkway!

Eleven good spirited UUSS members and friends didn’t hesitate to put a little love in the American River Parkway on Saturday, August 14. As a result, about 500 lbs. of trash was removed from the UU mile and our adopted part of the world became a better place!
Out there to lend a helping hand were (from left in the first photo below): Bill Hardy, Patty Case, Roy Lautamo, Linda Brandenburger, Kathy Johnson, Jeff Voeller, David Newland, Theo White, Shirley Paulsen and Doug Osborn. David Dawson (behind camera) was standing in for Crew Leader Eric Ross, who was away at a memorial service. In the second photo, another pile of collected trash is shown with David Newland, Bill Hardy and Doug Osborn.
Many thanks to each of these fine folks for caring, for acting on it, and for making a difference!
