Registration Now Open for SURJ Sacramento’s Study & Action Group!

Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) Sacramento is launching its 4th Study & Action Group—a community of learners committed to examining the histories of white supremacy and resistance movements, and building our abilities to effectively take action in support of Black and people of color-led organizations fighting for racial justice. We train up, so we can show up!

Ideally, participants will have attended a SURJ community meeting or plan to attend one as Study & Action begins. This program is designed for white-identifying participants, with the intent of guiding you to understand the ways in which whiteness has made you complicit in the systems of oppression we are now fighting against.
