Blessing for a New School Year Ritual Sunday, August 23

Bring your Chromebooks, smart phones, computer devices, or paper notebooks to the 11:00 a.m. Zoom service on August 23 for a brief ritual–a time of expressing our intentions and receiving the good wishes and blessings of our UU community.
In a normal year, there might be a blessing of the back packs as students and teachers begin a new year at school. But this year most of us won’t being leaving home to go to school! Because of the painful challenges of teaching, learning and parenting in a pandemic, we need the blessings of our spiritual community even more. This is open to students of all ages and levels, teachers and all other staffers of any school or college, parents, grandparents and friends.
If you would like any particular blessing, hope or intention to be included in the prayer, please contact Rev. Roger by phone or by Aug. 22.
