- Sun., Aug. 25 – Mandatory intro meeting for Mentors/Mentees. Distribute Journals.
- Sun., Sept. 15 (11:45-1:45) Initial Monthly meeting
- Sun., Oct. 13 Monthly meeting
- Sun., Nov. 17 Monthly meeting
- Sun., Jan. 12 Monthly meeting
- Sun., Feb. 9 Monthly meeting
- Sun., Mar. 22 Monthly meeting
- Sun., May 3 last monthly meeting (finalize worship service, draft credo)
- Sat., May 30 or June 6 Final Rehearsal – (worship service and credos)
- Sun., May 31 or June 7 Youth/Mentor COA Worship Service
- Sat. May 30, or 31, June 6 or 7 or another weeknight – COA lunch or dinner (families organize)
COA is a rite of passage equivalent to the Christian Confirmation or the Jewish Bat or Bar Mitzvah. COA helps adolescents discern for themselves what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist, individually and as part of the larger faith community. COA is in addition to the regular youth programs at UUSS with its own schedule and separate registration.
