The Family Ministry Team (FMT) will be hosting a soul concert in the sanctuary after service (approximately 12:15) on Sunday, March 31.
LaTour, which is named after the father/mother/daughter combo that makes up part of the band, are heavily influenced by soul heroes like James Brown, Zapp and Roger, Shuggie Otis, Switch, Prince, Leon Sylvers III and the DeBarge family as well as traditional Afro-Cuban music and Boogaloo giants like Joe Cuba and Joe Bataan. Grab some pancakes after the service from the Freedom Club and then head into the sanctuary to enjoy their heavy bass, intricate percussion, vulnerable and beautiful vocals and unpasteurized love and good vibrations.
