Stuffed Animal Sleepover Invitation for Nov. 20-22 at UUSS 😺

Greetings, UUSS Families!
Even though UUSS buildings are closed to humans, the buildings are not closed to our stuffed animals. At our Stuffed Animal Sleepover, they will have a fun weekend exploring the church and grounds and we will watch. Volunteers and I will host and chaperone a stuffed animal sleepover at UUSS from Friday afternoon, November 20, until Sunday, November 22.
We will be posting photos all weekend on the UUSS Facebook page, and the animals will participate in the Sunday Zoom service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Roger, Rev. Lucy, and Mr. Keith Atwater, our Music Director.
Weekend Schedule
After you drop off your animal, we will spend Friday night in quarantine. On Saturday, we will get up and visit all our favorite places on campus. Saturday morning they will help a team of Grasshoppers in caring for the church grounds. They won’t get dirty, though. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy games and walk the Labyrinth, weather permitting. All this will be photographed.
On Saturday evening, the stuffies will watch a movie. The stuffies will get up in time on Sunday to eat pancakes. They will be ready for the Gratitude service with Rev. Roger. Keith will conduct them for a special choral presentation.
It is too bad that humans cannot be there for the service in person, but we can watch our stuffies as they enjoy themselves at church. Afterwards, we will post a summary of the weekend on Facebook and www.uuss.org.
You may pick them up to go home between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. Sunday or during weekdays at he church office. They will be safe in the Library.
Who’s Invited?
All stuffed animals of UUSS children and teenagers are welcome to participate in our first Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Humans, please register in advance so know how many to expect. We will have a name tag for your stuffed animal or doll. If you have questions or ideas, please contact me at the address below.
