[This is how our advertisement looks on Craigslist, in case qualified persons who aren’t already UUs may not recognize themselves in the UU-targeted advert].
We are seeking an organized and creative person with strong communication skills to lead our Sunday programs for children, youth, and family support in a progressive spiritual community.
In a multi-faith congregation based on humanitarian values rather than required creeds, the half-time Religious Education Coordinator collaborates with our ministers and supports our adult volunteers in sparking wonder, exploring life issues, and learning together. We hold fun seasonal evening or afternoon events to build community across the generations. In this time of post-pandemic renewal, we welcome families and other newcomers in search of meaning and belonging.
We are a lively congregation with well-equipped facilities and a large campus including a new playground, community garden, and Labyrinth for walking meditation. We seek to serve the larger community and to live out the values of compassion, social justice, and sustainability. Our mission statement: “We come together to deepen our lives and to be a force for healing in the world.”
If you’d like to learn more about joining our team, visit our website at www.uuss.org. And please send a resume and cover letter to our ministers at …. Position starts late October 2022.

To whom it may concern:
My name is Kelli. I am interested in the
Sunday Child & Youth Programs Coordinator position. I have been an early childhood educator for 25 years, so I feel this position would be a perfect match for my experience. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a printer to print my resume and cover letter. Could I possibly send it by email?
Thank you,
Kelli Stern
