The UUSS Refugee Program finished 2017 with 10 computers donated to our Computer Systems Pilot Project. Thank you for your support! Refurbished computers are provided to families obtaining services at International Rescue Committee, Sacramento.

can they use computers that are no longer internet supported, as for Word docs, writing letters, learning English or general computer basics? HP s, one is w windows millennium and one windows XP.
no, we definitely want ones i can install a modern os (like windows 10) and they can use the internet. the windows millennium one is too old. the windows xp one might be ok if the cpu is a Core 2 Duo, i3, i5 or i7. there should be an intel sticker (blue usually) somewhere on the box that says what the processor is.
