A few ways to help the Ukrainian people

Thank you for bearing witness to the unjustified and cruel attack on the country and people of Ukraine, and for those asking how to help.
This article “A few ways to help the Ukrainians,” is by Yale history professor Timothy Snyder’s blog, “Thinking About…” It is recommended by the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.
In addition, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee has provided this list of a few non-governmental organizations to which donations can be given, including HIAS, IRC, Win Without War, and the Ukrainian-American Crisis Response Committee of Michigan.
To avoid being tricked and having your money go to criminal scams, it is good to go to trusted charity websites rather than respond to emails or just do a Google search, as cyber criminals are making use of this crisis, as with so many others, to steal money.
