Adopt A Family Dec 2, 9, & 16

The Refugee Support Team (RST) is sponsoring a Holiday Adopt A Family for five families. Four of the families participate in the Mommy and Me program at UUSS; the fifth family are new arrivals to Sacramento who are seeking asylum.
Look for a table on the veranda at the front entrance of UUSS on December 2, 9, and 16. We ask that you stop by the table, sign up for an individual requested gift, and bring the gift the following week. The RST elves are happy to shop for you, if you prefer to give a cash donation. Target gift cards are always welcome.
The UUSS RST elves will pass along your gifts and blessings to the families who are settling in our community as refugees. For information:

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
We purchased several gift items. Do you want them delivered wrapped or unwrapped?
Please bring them unwrapped. THANK YOU.
Is it possible please to get a list of the items, sizes, whatever needed before the 16th?
Also I had another trip to UCD ER this week, no dramatic result, just more tests for now. I did meet 2 nice young men from Afghanistan. I gave them my contact info but they have not reached out. I think they could use some medical/caring resources. If they contact me who do I contact then please to get something started for them? At least one, the one with stomach troubles is here alone I believe. He seemed to be able to speak English ok but this was a brief encounter.
Thanks,
LaRue
