Lessons from a 2019 Interfaith Pilgrimage to Honduras–Sister Ann Pratt, OP, will speak about her experience as one of 75 faith leaders who spent time with communities in Honduras who have been impacted by repression, militarization, and impoverishment. These interfaith delegates wanted to understand what circumstances are compelling thousands of Hondurans to leave their country.
Presenting with Sister Ann will be José Artiga, Executive Director of the SHARE Foundation. SHARE strives to strengthen solidarity with and among Central American people and the United States in the struggle for economic sustainability, justice, and human and civil rights.
The event is free and all are welcome.
Wednesday, May 29, 7:00 pm in Brunsman Hall, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
The hall is located behind the church on 26th Street, between K and L Streets.
