The history of the indigenous people of California includes genocide and theft of their homelands.  As part of our journey toward healing, we will present a new Land Acknowledgement developed by the Racial Justice team. We will also consider generational trauma and how it impacts all our lives. This service is part of the Soul Matters Theme for January, Finding Our Center.

• Light a candle before the service and fill out a Joys & Sorrows card to be included in today’s pastoral prayer.  The Orientation for Newcomers and Tour of UUSS takes place after the service.
