“Failing forward” is a term some activists use after a campaign doesn’t quite make it. It implies that in the failure of a crucial effort, there may still be some gains or progress to recognize. Is this applicable in our own lives? Is it a helpful idea for children and the adults who care for them?
Or is failing forward really a way to stay in denial?
