For many of us the holidays mean spending time with relatives who may have a different perspective than our own. For those of us with a more liberal perspective, it often can be very difficult to speak out for what we believe. How can we speak from the heart about our values? We will explore this theme through the lens of psychologist Jonathon Haidt, the Quaker educator and activist Parker Palmer, and the story of Jonah and the whale.
