The Spiritual Practice of Covenant: Our UU Advantage

by Rev. Dr. Gretchen Woods (Guest)

Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento

Sunday, April 15, 2018

Our tradition is based not on a creed but on the practice of covenant-about how we come together as a community, how we discern our calling and claim our mission, and how we honor the similarities among us as well as our diverse individualities.

Rev. Dr. Gretchen Woods will bring stories and inspiration as we continue to mark the 150th anniversary of UUSS. She serves the UU Fellowship of Redwood City, CA as Interim Minister and has served as interim for congregations in Indiana, Kentucky, and Nebraska. She is Minister Emerita of the UU Church of Corvallis, OR, where she served 12 years. She has been a board member (along with Rev. Roger) of the continental UU Ministers Association, President of the Ministerial Sisterhood UU, and co-founder (with the Rev. Ben Meyers) of the Singers of the Living Tradition, a choir of UU ministers and spouses.
