In these times of pandemic and political strife and so many distractions, a number of us have expressed the intention to reduce the attention we pay to the news media or to withdraw from social media, or both.  Yet we also seek to be connected to others and to be good citizens of the community and the world.  How can we stay grounded spiritually while staying in touch with the world?
