A song has the chorus, drawing on a Native American ritual words, “Give thanks for unknown blessings/ Already on their way.” Responding to our Soul Matters theme in June, how can we celebrate blessings we can’t identify or be sure of? In this time of danger and foreboding, is it foolish to cultivate this kind of gratitude? Perhaps, instead, it’s absolutely crucial that we do so!
