What Good Is a Human Being? Human Nature in Unitarian Universalism

by Rev. Dr. Roger Jones

Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento

Sunday, December 15, 2019

We continue our monthly series on UU Theologies for the 21 st century. Theological anthropology is the branch of theology concerned with what it means to be human. Are we basically good creatures bearing the image of God? Or basically prone to selfishness and harming other people and other beings to get what we want? How much free will or choice do we have as a species? Let’s wrestle with humanity’s track record.
Join us to consider this topic today, and come Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. for the discussion series.
