Greetings!

This month we will explore heritage in many dimensions.   I will preach on our UU heritage this Sunday October 1, followed by a sermon from Rosemary on October 8th, on what we can learn from the Salem Witch Hunts.    Our circle service this month is Calling our Beloved Dead where each of us can light a candle of remembrance for a beloved who has passed on.

As we enter into the dark time of the year our thoughts may often turn to the past. The Soul Matters packet this month has  lots of opportunities to reflect on our heritage.  One idea I love is to consider the foods from  your heritage, and even create a dinner party where each person brings something from their tradition.  What a wonderful way to connect.
