Congratulations to Jill McMahon and Susan Madden for receiving Theater One’s Bobby Award!. The Bobby Award is awarded to outstanding achievement in Theater One and is named after Bobby Stewart who guided Theater One for many years.

Jill and Susan are the reason Theater One has a children’s series. They have produced and provided funding for all Theater One children’s plays since 2015. Plays include Chicken Little’s Christmas Party (twice), Jungle Book, Alice In Wonderland, Cinderella, Snow White, Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Dr. Frankincense and the Christmas Monster.

Jill has directed most of the children’s plays in addition to directing Steel Magnolias, The Odd Couple, Shadow Hour and What’s In The Box? at Theater One. As a long-time experienced actor Susan has been in numerous Theater One productions since 2014 including nearly all T-1 children’s productions. Susan also was Theater One co-chair for four years.

A big thank you goes to Susan and Jill for their dedication to Theater One. Well deserved!
