Everyone is welcome at “Mindfulness Practices” with Ann Kronser on the 2nd and 4th Monday 6:00-6:30 p.m. at uuss.org/online. Ann writes:
As we continue to experience such great physical and social restrictions, learning and developing practices of the heart may provide some relief from our isolation and loneliness. Heart practices are a way to train the mind to be more loving, compassionate, responsive, and caring of ourselves and others.
Qualities of the heart are innate: Love, Steadiness, Kindness and Caring are qualities that already exist within us.
During the month of December, as part of our bi-weekly Meditation practice, we’ll be exploring and practicing two of the four heart qualities: Loving Kindness and Compassion. Join us while we expand and grow these qualities in our meditation practice.
