All are welcome to join JoAnn Anglin on the 1st and 3rd Monday each month at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom at uuss.org/online/ for “Reading & Responding to Poetry”. JoAnn writes: For our Lectio Divina zoom meeting next Monday, August 15, we’ll consider the poem It Was So Dark Inside the Wolf, by Frank X. Gaspar. How does it feel when life starts to feel overwhelming? Climate change, regressive politics, fires, wars, economic disparities – a lot of too much. What is the wolf’s shape for you? Gaspar doesn’t solve it for us, but provides some empathy. His poem is online at: http://www.webdelsol.com/LITARTS/Alice_James_Books/Gaspar/gaspar_wolf.html
All are welcome. I look forward to seeing you in the Zoom Room at 10:00 a.m. Join in the same way you would ‘attend’ online Sunday service.
NOTE: Because 1st Monday in September is Labor Day, we won’t meet then, but will enjoy an extra gathering on Monday, August 29. More about that soon!
