JoAnn writes: This coming Monday, February 6, our 10:00 a.m. Zoom gathering at uuss.org/online will feature the poem, The Back Jam Show: Commander Donafay Collins, by Taiyon J. Coleman. Her poem is drawn from Detroit’s local news headlines. Although it refers to the consequence of a COVID outbreak, it seems to resonate with conflicts that may be felt by police officers of color every day or month. You can see it online at: https://humansandnature.org/the-back-jam-show-commander-donafay-collins/
