Your elected Board of Trustees meets monthly. Our next meeting will be Thursday, May 25 at 6:30 pm. Our meeting takes place in person in the UUSS library and on Zoom. You are welcome to join us either in person or by accessing the same Zoom link as the one used for the Sunday morning services. The agenda will be posted in advance of the meeting.

We think it is very important to keep the congregation updated about current and upcoming conversations. The Board’s role is to oversee issues of UUSS finances, facilities, personnel, and long-range planning; it makes decisions on policies rather than management decisions.  Information from the April Board Meeting

• The Congregational Meeting will be held immediately after the Sunday, May 21st service on Zoom AND in-person. Please plan to attend. The congregation will be voting on the budget and the slate of candidates for leadership positions. The meeting agenda and materials will be sent via email and also be posted online.

• The Board endorsed the draft 2023-24 operating budget that will be presented for a vote by the congregation for final approval at the May 21, 2023 Congregational Meeting.

• In the next few weeks there will be more information about the changes suggested by the UUA Article II Commission. Article II of UUA Bylaws, Principles and Purposes, is the foundation for all of the work of our UUA and its member congregations and will be discussed and voted on at the 2023 General Assembly in Pittsburgh, June 21 – 25.

• The UUSS Board has asked a small committee to create a process to evaluate our co-ministers, focusing on their current strengths and challenges. We are seeking input from the congregation at large, committees, elected leaders, and staff. Please click on the link https://forms.gle/sJK7Fpox2LLA5rui8 to provide your thoughtful comments on Reverend Roger’s evaluation. Input will be gathered until May 18. A similar process will be conducted in June to evaluate Reverend Lucy. Questions may be sent to .
